Local features
Arcana uses local browser storage and Chrome extension storage for language, appearance, cards, notes, profiles and preferences. These records remain until you change or clear them or the browser removes them. Calculator inputs are processed locally; saved profiles persist only when the feature saves them.
Optional analytics storage
Analytics choices and a random analytics identifier are stored locally. Analytics remains off until you opt in; there is no advertising cookie or Google browser tracking tag in this implementation. Events are relayed to Google Analytics by the server. Use Analytics settings in the website footer or Analytics in app Settings to change your choice. Disabling one surface does not necessarily change consent saved in the other or on another device.
Managing browser data
You can clear website data and control cookies in your browser. This can reset preferences, sign you out or permanently remove records stored only on this device. Export anything you want to keep first. Browser storage controls are separate from deleting data already held on a server or in an exported file.
